Last night and CommunityOne Day....

So last night after hours upon hours of deliberation, we decided to eat at an Irish Pub that is about a block away, Johnny Foleys. It looks a generic bar trying to pass off as an Irish Pub; but the food and drinks were actually really good. I had a 10oz filet, and I have to say it was probably in the top 5-7 steaks I've ever eaten. Very good indeed. Brian forced everyone to try an imported beer called Chimay. I've never heard of it, but apparently it's the 'champagne of beers', and you have to drink it out of a fancy glass. It was pretty good too. It had a lot of different flavors that changed from the time you first put it in your mouth to the time you swallowed it (obligatory "thats what she said"). After a few of those, we were pretty sleepy. Correction, me, Brian, and Matt where sleepy, Ryan was hammered.

This morning I woke up about 6 am here, 8 am back in the Red States. I decided to take the opportunity to follow through on my goal of waking up and going to workout before work some day. The gym here is pretty nice. Lots of cardio equipment with the tvs built into each piece. Dumbells up to 50lbs, and several cable machines. I don't think I will work out in the morning again because I have no energy in the morning, and the gym was filled with Eurotrash staring at themselves in the mirrors in their Armani tights and D&G headbands.

Today was CommunityOne Day at the conference. Nothing too interesting. Sun released OpenSolaris OS, which has some nifty features. But lets get to what most of you are really interested in, the swag list.

I've decided to keep a running list of swag I have aquired each day on the blog. Here is the current tally:

  • T-Shirts: 2
  • Hats: 1
  • Oracle Water Bottle: 1
  • Felt Pen: 1
  • Pens: 2
  • Tote Bags: 3
  • Backpacks: 1
  • Notebooks: 2

I'm about to go to this mall across the street and see what they have. In the meantime, here are a few photos I've taken today.

try not to spend too much of your day throwing paint on fur coats and setting fire to hummer dealerships. I know how California can affect people.

I wish I was there, I have a full day of reading through FTA circular 4702.1a to determine our title VI requirements. Try not to wet yourself when you read that.

Excellent detail. I can almost smell my own smug and feel the liberals swirling around me. Be part of the solution.... THAAAANKS.
