Short update tonight, it's 12:25am and I'm sleepy. Today was first day of the actual JavaOne conference. In the big general session they had Neil Young come out on stage. What a hippie.
The first couple of sessions this morning were kinda dry and boring. Took a long lunch to score some swag (updated swag tally tommorow), and a quick trip to the Wharf to look at the bridge/alcatraz/sea lions. The last couple of sessions were more interesting though, I hope the rest of the week is as interesting. Didn't do a lot tonight because the sessions ran to 7. Met up with Brian and Ryan and ate at some Italian place off Union Square.
I have a full day of sessions from 9:30 till about 5 tommmorow. I got a free ticket to a private screening of Iron Man from the Oracle booth for 7pm tommorow night. I'm considering going to see that. Other than that, I'm tired/sleepy a lot. Hard to get over the time change.

What a hippie? You're not worthy to be in the same room as Neil Young! Clearly your cigar smoking, Ann Coulter loving lifestyle has not prepared you for California. Am I going to have to come out there and liberal you up? Before you go and defile the great State of California any further I want you to go down to Chinatown and try to pick up a Chairman Mao cap, get you a Black Panthers flag at Berkeley, and stop shaving immediately. That should get you through the week. If you could verbally abuse suburban white girls that would also help. Can't you attend at least one protest rally for something while there? Oh, and don't forget to get me as much free shit as humanly possible, measured in pounds preferably.
